Role Overview

Committee for Children is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to drive new customer acquisition and support sales growth for its digital and print educational products. This is a remote role focused on managing leads, building client relationships, and closing sales within an assigned territory.

You will play a key role in the sales process, from identifying prospects to converting them into long-term customers, while collaborating with account executives and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Qualification:

  •  Identify and qualify new leads through inbound and outbound outreach 
  •  Research potential clients and maintain accurate CRM records 
  •  Re-engage past customers and generate new opportunities 
  •  Understand client needs, budgets, and timelines 

Sales Execution:

  •  Present tailored solutions through demos, proposals, and presentations 
  •  Manage the full sales cycle from lead to closing 
  •  Use CRM tools to track performance and guide strategy 
  •  Stay updated on education trends and competitor offerings 

Collaboration & Reporting:

  •  Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams 
  •  Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline data 
  •  Ensure smooth transition from sales to onboarding 

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree 
  •  3+ years of experience in sales, customer success, or implementation 
  •  Experience in education or EdTech sector
  •  Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets 
  •  Strong communication and relationship-building skills 
  •  Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.) 
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools 

Job Details

  • Location: Remote (U.S.-based states only) 
  • Type: Full-Time 
  • Salary: $31–$37/hour + commission (up to 100% of base pay)
