Role Overview
Take charge as a Founding Engineer, building and scaling backend systems from scratch in a remote-first environment. Shape the technical foundation of our platform and make an impact on the global TCG community. 
 Key Responsibilities

1. Build Scalable Systems

• Architect robust backend solutions to handle high-traffic, complex marketplace interactions.
• Develop scalable infrastructure to ensure performance and reliability.

2. Lead Feature Development

• Implement key functionalities like card scanning, inventory management, and trade matching.
• Optimize systems for logging, monitoring, and scaling.

3. Enhance Platform Security

• Implement KYC processes and advanced security protocols to safeguard user data.

4. Streamline Deployment

• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and support rapid iteration cycles.

5. Collaborate and Contribute

• Work across the stack while mentoring future team members and collaborating with product teams.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills

• Proven expertise in backend development with Node.js, TypeScript, and database management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, self-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

Bonus Skills

• Proficiency in MongoDB and experience with React and Next.js.
• A passion for TCGs or gaming culture.
