Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Solution Architect (Manager) – Enterprise Solutions

As a CRM Solution Architect with a specialization in Microsoft Dynamics, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering modern, scalable technology solutions that align closely with business goals. You will be responsible for designing high-performance CRM architectures and acting as a subject matter expert for CRM platforms and enterprise application design. This position requires deep expertise in technology architecture, operational architecture, and architectural frameworks, with a strong focus on application architecture and solution design.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Architecture & Design
Design and deliver robust technology architectures for platforms, products, and client engagements, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and capability requirements. Define enterprise-grade solutions to address complex business challenges across multiple teams and domains.

Solution Design & Delivery
Develop innovative CRM solutions using Microsoft Dynamics to support business objectives and create measurable value. Evaluate existing architectures and systems, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance performance, maintainability, and efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Lead workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and validate solution approaches with business and technical stakeholders. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment, influence key technical decisions, and ensure successful delivery.

Architecture Governance & Documentation
Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, standards, and decisions to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing. Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and promote best practices in CRM architecture and enterprise solution design.

Leadership & Delivery Ownership
Work closely with delivery teams to ensure high-quality execution of solutions. Take ownership of architectural decisions, guide teams through implementation challenges, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

Experience & Background

  • 8–12+ years of experience within the Microsoft ecosystem, including 5+ years of hands-on expertise with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Dataverse, and the Power Platform

  • Proven experience leading multi-sprint implementations as a Technical Lead across Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service modules, ensuring successful delivery aligned with business outcomes

Technical Skills

  • Advanced hands-on experience with C#/.NET (plugins, custom APIs, XRM SDK) and JavaScript/TypeScript (form scripting, command bar customization)

  • Strong expertise in Power Platform Component Framework (PCF) for building custom CRM components

  • Deep knowledge of Dataverse architecture and data modeling, including security roles, teams, auditing, and data governance

  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including branching strategies, solution layering, and automated deployments

  • Strong understanding of system integration and data migration patterns, including ETL processes, throttling, pagination, and incremental (delta) synchronization

Communication & Collaboration

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead technical workshops and clearly articulate architectural decisions

  • Strong facilitation skills to gather requirements, align solutions with business needs, and drive stakeholder buy-in

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced Dynamics 365 modules such as Omnichannel for Customer Service, Field Service Resource Scheduling (FSR), and Marketing

  • Exposure to Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and responsible AI design patterns for CRM use cases

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600)

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Service or Sales Functional Consultant (MB-230 / MB-210)

  • Microsoft Azure Developer or Architect (AZ-204 / AZ-305)

Tools & Technologies

  • Dynamics 365 & Power Platform: Dataverse, Power Apps (Model-driven & Canvas), Power Automate, Copilot Studio

  • DevOps & CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Git, YAML pipelines, automated testing and deployments

  • Azure Services: Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid

  • Development: C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, PCF, XRM Tooling, SolutionPackager

  • Monitoring & Testing: Application Insights, Log Analytics/Kusto, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI
