About the Project

We are modernizing and upgrading the webmail interface to improve user satisfaction and stay competitive with leading global email providers. The team manages the main webmail experience, the mobile web version, and the classic web client.

Role Details

Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical leadership in a fast-moving environment
  
  
• Uphold engineering best practices: design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, TDD
  
  
• Build high-quality, high-performance features with Node.js and React.js
  
  
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers
  
  
• Write reliable, testable code and support continuous deployment
  
  
• Improve application performance, scalability, and stability
  
  
• Operate and monitor production systems at global scale
  
  

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 6+ years of experience
  
  
• Solid CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and software design
  
  
• Expertise in React, Redux, Node.js, and responsive design
  
  
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
  
  
• Experience with: Node, HTTP, JSON, Webpack, Babel
  
  
• TDD experience with tools such as: Jest, WebdriverIO, Enzyme, Protractor, React Testing Library
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or maintaining email applications
  
  
• Strong mobile web development background
  
  
• Familiarity with Agile workflows (Scrum, Squad, etc.)
