Role Overview 

We are seeking a Data Annotation Specialist to help train and refine machine learning models through accurate data labeling and verification. This role requires high attention to detail, consistency, and precision to ensure the highest data quality standards.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Label and Verify Data: Annotate datasets to support AI model training, replicating ideal model behavior and comparing results.
  
  
• Image Analysis: Review and analyze images of varying quality to extract item names, prices, descriptions, and sizes.
  
  
• Menu Matching: Match digitized menu data with corresponding digital menus for consistency and accuracy.
  
  
• Price Verification: Confirm correct item pricing and ensure all data templates meet integrity standards.
  
  

Requirements
 

• Language Expertise: Fluent in Malay (required).
  
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  
  
• Ability to recognize discrepancies between digital and physical catalog versions.
  
  
• Familiarity with data annotation tools or basic machine learning concepts (preferred).
  
  
• Capacity to process an average of 5 menus per hour efficiently.

• Project Scope: Initial batch of 1,000 menus, with a total of 4,000 menus across multiple languages.
  
  
• Tools Provided: Templates and datasets will be supplied; data will be updated in batches.
  
  
• Freelancers may use AI tools like Gemini or ChatGPT to assist with the process — provided all data is manually verified for accuracy.
  
  
• Compensation: $15–$20 per hour, approximately 10 hours per week.
