Remote Weekend General Radiologist -Independent Contractor - Radiology Associate

Radiology Associates of Canton, a Radiology Partners practice in Ohio, is hiring a part-time remote general radiologist for weekend reading. This is an independent contractor role open to board certified radiologists who hold an Ohio license. You would read general emergency (STAT ER) studies for a Level II Trauma Center.

What you will do

• Read general emergency (STAT ER) cases on weekend shifts
• Work remotely for a Level II Trauma Center
• Cover one of two shift blocks: 8am to 4pm EST, or 4pm EST to 12pm EST

What they are looking for

• Board certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Licensed in the state of Ohio
• Fellowship is preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication skills

Pay and hours

The salary range for this position is $2,500 to $3,000 per shift. Final determinations may vary based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

This is an independent contractor, part-time role at 0 to 29 hours per week. Shifts are on weekends only, in one of the two blocks listed above.

About the practice

Radiology Associates of Canton was established in 1971. It serves Aultman Hospital main campus, Aultman Orrville Hospital, Aultman Alliance Community Hospital, Southwest General Hospital, and other locations in Cuyahoga, Stark, Tuscarawas, and Wayne Counties.

Along with interpretive and procedural services, RAC partners with Aultman, Mercy, and NEOMED on a four-year ACGME accredited residency training program in diagnostic radiology, with dedicated instruction in each subspecialty. The group is physician owned and operated and consists of 29 sub-specialized radiologists, PAs, and an RA.
