Apply by 28 October 2026 · 6 days left
NVIDIA's Deep Learning Libraries Group is hiring software engineers to build the infrastructure behind its highest performing deep learning libraries. The work spans multiple products, including cuDNN and FlashInfer. You would design and develop scalable, modular systems that streamline development, build, and test across NVIDIA's platforms, from datacenter to autonomous vehicles.
This role is for an engineer with at least five years of relevant experience who likes automation and wants it to work reliably for other developers. The team mixes software engineers and infrastructure experts.
What you will do
- Design and develop software for testing and analysis of NVIDIA's codebases
- Build scalable automation for build, test, integration, and release processes for publicly distributed deep learning libraries
- Develop throughout the software stack, from the user experience down to the cluster and database layers
- Configure, maintain, and build upon deployments of industry-standard tools such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, CMake, Gitlab, and Jira
- Advance work in those tools and upstream contributions to the open source community
What they are looking for
- BS or equivalent experience or higher degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong programming skills in Python (or similar) and familiarity with C/C++ development
- Experience setting up, maintaining, and automating continuous integration systems
- Proficiency in SCM (e.g. Git, Perforce) and build systems (e.g. Make, CMake, Bazel)
- A pragmatic approach to solving problems collaboratively, with a passion for automation that just works and enables team members
Ways to stand out
- Experience designing and developing automation in Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, or Github Actions, plus a background with distributed systems and cluster or cloud computing (e.g. Slurm, containers, Kubernetes)
- Experience designing and developing unit and integration test frameworks, with hands-on use of code coverage and static code analysis tools
- Success leading a team of engineers, or experience as an active contributor to a software project involving many developers
- Knowledge of GPU computing systems and experience with mobile or embedded platforms and multiple operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Windows, L4T, or similar)
- A track record of identifying useful new technologies and incorporating them into software development flows
Pay and benefits
Base salary is determined by location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD to 356,500 USD for Level 5. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
