Contra Labs is seeking experienced Product Design System Experts with strong knowledge of Google’s Material Design principles. In this role, you will evaluate and provide expert feedback on design outputs generated by advanced creative AI tools.

Your responsibility will be to assess design system adherence, ensure implementation quality, and deliver precise, actionable feedback that improves production-ready design outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated product design outputs
  
  
• Assess adherence to established design systems (especially Google Material Design)
  
  
• Provide detailed, actionable feedback on design quality and consistency
  
  
• Review UX alignment and system implementation standards
  
  
• Support research efforts by applying real-world production design expertise
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience shipping designs into production
  
  
• Strong expertise in design systems and implementation
  
  
• Experience working with Google’s Material Design guidelines
  
  
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe design tools
  
  
• Ability to provide structured, high-quality design feedback
  
  
• Experience delivering UX and design system quality evaluations
  
  
• Must be based in the United States
  
  

Contract Details

• Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week (up to 40 hours)
  
  
• Initial 3-month contract with potential extension

Payment

• $50–$100 per hour (based on experience)
