About the Role – Backend Engineer (Platform Team) 

Our Platform team is responsible for building and scaling core backend services—covering payments, analytics, subscriptions, AI text-to-speech systems, new product infrastructure, and public/external APIs.

Interview process includes several technical interviews and is typically completed within one week.  

What You’ll Do 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs, including public TTS APIs and internal services like payments, subscriptions, authentication, and usage tracking
  
  
• Oversee the entire backend API ecosystem, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability
  
  
• Collaborate on B2B integrations, tailoring backend solutions for enterprise clients
  
  
• Work with product and engineering teams to align backend architecture with company goals and user needs
  
  

What We’re Looking For

Required:
 

• Proven experience in backend development using TypeScript/Node.js
  
  
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
  
  
• Ability to prioritize efficiently, execute quickly, and deliver high-impact solutions
  
  

Preferred:
 

• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
  
  
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and high-availability distributed systems
