Role Overview 

Speechify is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer to contribute to the development and growth of its highly popular iOS application. With the app ranking among the top productivity apps in the App Store, this role will focus on scaling the product, improving user experience, and delivering new features. 

This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy fast-paced environments, strategic product thinking, and building high-quality mobile experiences.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and ship production-ready code for the Speechify iOS application.

  • Contribute to engineering and product decision-making.

  • Collaborate with a dedicated product and engineering team.

  • Participate in discussions that shape the product roadmap and feature development.

  • Maintain and improve the existing iOS application architecture.

  • Help design new features that enhance user experience.

Ideal Candidate
 

  • Experience building products used by large user bases.

  • Proven track record of developing software products from concept to growth.

  • Strong customer-focused mindset and commitment to exceptional user experiences.

  • Ability to think strategically about product evolution and technical improvements.

  • Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Technical Requirements
 

  • Strong experience with Swift programming language.

  • Experience with SwiftUI development.

  • Knowledge of multithreading programming.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with Fastlane for mobile deployment.

  • Understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture.

  • Experience using Git version control systems.
