Are you a highly skilled Senior Android Developer searching for a remote job that allows you to not only showcase your talents but also earn a competitive income? Look no further, because Lemon.io is here to connect you with a network of hand-picked startups that are eagerly looking for developers just like you!

At Lemon.io, we understand how important it is for developers to have the freedom to work remotely, while still being part of exciting, impactful projects. We are currently seeking Senior Android Developers to work with our client, a property management software provider, where you can dive into challenging projects, grow your expertise, and be compensated handsomely.

What's in it for you?

  • Pay Rate: Earn up to $45/hour, depending on your seniority, skills, and experience. This could translate into a monthly income of $4,000 - $7,500—definitely not bad for doing what you love!
  • Time Zone Requirement: This role offers flexibility but requires full overlap with the team in India (working in Indian Standard Time, IST). You’ll also need to join a daily standup with the team lead at 9 a.m. Mountain Time (MT).

What Do You Need to Qualify?

This isn't your average Android developer gig. We're looking for someone who:

  • Has 3+ years of Android development experience and a solid track record of delivering complex, high-quality projects.
  • Is proficient in Kotlin and Java, with in-depth experience using Android SDK, Android Studio, and tools like Retrofit, Dagger, and Room.
  • Has strong experience with Android Jetpack components, Coroutines, and custom UI components. Experience with advanced features like Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform, or custom UI/UX solutions is a huge plus!
  • Understands UI/UX principles and best practices, with a knack for creating intuitive, high-performance apps.
  • Is familiar with architectural patterns like MVVM or MVP and knows their way around RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and performance optimization.
  • Has experience with version control systems like Git and understands CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bonus points if you have experience with cloud-based technologies and architectures.

Skills That Make You Stand Out

Beyond technical expertise, you should be an excellent problem-solver, capable of troubleshooting and debugging even the most complex issues. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a global team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication skills are a must, as you'll need to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Why Lemon.io?

When you join Lemon.io, you're joining a global community of developers from over 50+ countries, including Europe, LATAM, Asia (Philippines, Indonesia), Oceania (Australia, New Zealand), Canada, and the UK. Our platform is designed to match your skills with startups that need your expertise, providing you with exciting projects and competitive pay.
