The Role: Technical Course Reviewer & Writer

We’re looking for a deeply technical learner and skilled writer to research, test, and recommend the best online courses in advanced tech topics. This is a remote contract role designed for those who live and breathe online learning and love exploring cutting-edge technical tools and platforms.

You’ll join a small, passionate team dedicated to publishing high-quality course guides that help learners stop procrastinating and start mastering skills.

What You’ll Do

• Take and evaluate online courses on technical topics such as DevSecOps, LangChain, NGINX, Pen Testing, Kubernetes, etc.
  
  
• Research and write detailed “Best Course” guides for topics in cybersecurity, software development, cloud computing, and more.
  
  
• Create clear, engaging articles that break down complex concepts for beginners and intermediate learners.
  
  
• Design visually clear layouts with charts, screenshots, and formatting that enhance understanding.
  
  
• Work independently while collaborating asynchronously with a fully remote team.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience working in a technical field (software engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, etc.).
  
  
• Proven writing experience—you can explain technical concepts to non-experts.
  
  
• A track record of taking online courses, ideally across multiple platforms.
  
  
• Comfortable using the command line and engaging with developer tools and environments.
  
  
• Self-motivated and organized—you can manage your own research, writing, and editing without supervision.
  
  
• A passion for education, writing, and helping people learn.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with web publishing (WordPress, Markdown, HTML)
  
  
• Knowledge of SEO and writing content that ranks
  
  
• Prior blogging, tech writing, or content marketing experience
