The Role: 

We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with a focus on GCP for one of our client partners. You’ll be a strong fit if you are growth-driven, passionate about your craft, and enjoy working on innovative ideas to build impactful products. 

What we’re looking for: 

At least five years of experience in a DevOps role, with deep hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform environments.
 Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
 Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform, Ansible, or Google Deployment Manager.
 Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
 Solid understanding of networking concepts, security practices, and modern application development approaches.
 Proven ability to design and support reliable build, deployment, and configuration management systems for complex, multi-tier applications.
 Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex infrastructure challenges.
 Clear and effective communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana.
 Availability within the CET time zone (plus or minus three hours); candidates outside this range cannot be considered. 

Responsibilities: 

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
 Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth and reliable application and service deployments.
 Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Google Deployment Manager.
 Monitor and optimize cloud resources and applications to maintain availability and performance.
 Work closely with software development teams to embed DevOps practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
 Implement and maintain security best practices across cloud environments.
 Manage backup processes, disaster recovery strategies, and business continuity planning.
