Job Summary: Remote Data Entry Clerk 

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Clerk to support our team by maintaining accurate, well-organized data across our systems. In this role, you’ll ensure information is entered correctly, kept up to date, and easily accessible for internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Enter data accurately into multiple databases and systems within defined timelines

  • Review entries for errors or inconsistencies and correct issues as needed

  • Validate information by cross-checking with source documents

  • Update existing records and retrieve data upon request

  • Perform routine backups to safeguard data

  • Organize and maintain digital files for efficient access

  • Collaborate with team members to resolve data discrepancies

  • Protect sensitive information by following confidentiality and security standards

Requirements
 

  • Prior experience in data entry or a similar administrative role

  • Fast and accurate typing skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors

  • Proficiency with data entry tools and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in data management is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Experience working remotely and using virtual collaboration tools

  • Familiarity with data protection standards and best practices
