The Department of Leadership, Management, and Human Capital in the College of Business, Engineering, and Technology at National University invites applications for part-time faculty in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of, or potential for, excellence in teaching in their field and a commitment to serving the university’s diverse adult student body. Responsibilities
- Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities.
- Maintain a positive, safe, inclusive student-centric learning environment.
- Complete required tasks on deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.)
- Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable.
- Provide feedback to the course lead regarding the course content.
- Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
Requirements
Required
- Doctoral degree in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership or a closely related discipline/ field from a regionally accredited university.
- 3-5 years of work experience in Industrial Organizational Psychology.
Preferred: 3–5 years of graduate and/or doctoral higher education teaching experience. Experience serving on doctoral dissertation committees preferred. Dissertation chair experience, evidence of ongoing scholarly activity (e.g., peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, scholarly research), experience mentoring doctoral students, online doctoral teaching, and experience with qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed-methods research. undefined
