Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping software and successfully launching applications.
  
  
• 5+ years of commercial experience with React, Vue, or other JavaScript frameworks for the front end.
  
  
• Experience with Python, Go, Rails, Elixir, Java, Flask, or Node.js on the backend.
  
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  
  
• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer or in a relevant role.
  
  
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work in distributed teams.
  
  
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement custom generative LLMs (e.g., models similar to GPT, ChatGPT, GPT-4.5) and discriminative LLMs (e.g., models similar to BERT).
  
  
• Create wrapper applications utilizing ChatGPT and other LLMs.
  
  
• Design and implement AI systems for alignment, reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF), and AI guardrails.
  
  
• Conduct performance evaluations and rigorous testing of LLMs using standardized benchmarks.
  
  
• Apply NLP and ML techniques to solve complex language processing challenges.
  
  
• Translate technical insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with fine-tuning generative LLMs and prompt engineering.
  
  
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks.
  
  
• Experience with Hugging Face Transformers and other open-source NLP/NLG modules.
