The Role 

We’re looking for a Product Designer to define and elevate the user experience of our AI-driven platform. Partnering with the Lead Product Manager and technical leaders, you’ll help make complex data transformation workflows feel intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy for finance teams. 

What You’ll Design 

  • Conversational interfaces that make AI-powered data transformation feel as natural as chatting with a teammate, while powering sophisticated workflows in the background.
  •  Interactive flows where users refine data cleaning through natural language input and see real-time results.
  •  Dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate transformation logic in ways finance teams understand and auditors can trust.
  •  Design systems and reusable components that scale across web applications and integrations.
  •  Onboarding and educational experiences that help non-technical users adopt AI tools with confidence. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery to high-fidelity prototypes and production handoff.
  •  Conduct user research with finance teams to uncover workflows, pain points, and mental models.
  •  Translate complex data operations into clear, approachable interfaces.
  •  Build and maintain a cohesive design system that balances speed, clarity, and consistency.
  •  Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
  •  Participate in customer demos to observe real user behavior and gather feedback.
  •  Iterate quickly based on product requirements and real-world usage insights. 

Requirements 

  • At least 4 years of experience designing web-based products.
  •  A strong portfolio showing how you’ve simplified complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
  •  Proficiency with modern design tools, with Figma preferred.
  •  Solid interaction design skills—you think in flows, states, and user journeys, not just visuals.
  •  Ability to deliver everything from low-fidelity wireframes to polished, production-ready design specs. 

Strong Advantages (Nice to Have) 

  • Experience building data, analytics, BI, or dashboard-heavy products.
  •  Background designing AI or LLM-powered experiences, including conversational interfaces.
  •  Familiarity with enterprise UX patterns such as permissions, audit trails, and bulk actions.
  •  Understanding of finance workflows, accounting concepts, or fintech products.
  •  Comfort working alongside front-end code or design-to-code tools.
  •  Experience working in early-stage startup environments with broad ownership.
