Advertising Designer

Lucyd Media is a fully remote advertising agency that works with CBD and cannabis companies focused on a socially conscious mission. The agency is hiring an Advertising Designer to create still and motion social media ads for its direct-to-consumer clients. You would join the Creative, Advertising, and Accounts teams and produce designs used across social media advertising channels.

This is a full time contract role at 40 hours per week, open to candidates worldwide.

What you will do

• Study design briefs and brand guidelines and determine what each project requires
• Conceptualize visuals based on those requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations and motion graphics for use in advertisements
• Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce final designs
• Maintain a consistent volume of designs for the Advertising team to use across various channels

What they are looking for

• Proven graphic and motion design experience
• A strong portfolio of DTC illustrations and other graphics
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details for today's brands and consumers
• Experience in Adobe Suite highly preferred, with emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
• A photo or video background preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
