Role Overview 

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to support AI-focused projects across a wide range of technologies and programming languages, including JavaScript, Python, Go, C++, Ruby, and others. 

This is a flexible, open-ended, project-based contract role with no minimum time commitment or fixed working hours. Contributors select the projects they want to work on, decide when to work, and control how much they contribute—making this an ideal opportunity for professionals seeking autonomy and meaningful impact. 

In this role, you will support AI research efforts by working with complex systems, navigating large-scale codebases, and developing methods to assess and validate software behavior.  

Compensation & Work Structure 

  • $70 per hour upon successful qualification

  • Fully remote role

  • Project-based work with no minimum hours or task commitments

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Quickly develop an understanding of large, multi-module codebases

  • Review and assess feature implementations for correctness and potential edge cases

  • Create clear, well-structured documentation outlining findings and technical reasoning

Requirements
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts
