We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technical Lead specializing in Node.js to join our dynamic team. This leadership role will drive the development of high-performance backend solutions, mentor engineering team members, and ensure the delivery of robust and scalable applications. The position is remote, available to candidates located within the EMEA region. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend services using Node.js.
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and frontend developers.
  
  
• Set coding standards and best practices for the engineering team.
  
  
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to developers.
  
  
• Oversee code reviews and ensure high-quality code delivery.
  
  
• Identify technical challenges and proactively propose solutions.
  
  
• Manage system architecture and ensure scalability, security, and performance.
  
  
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications
 

• 7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend technologies.
  
  
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks.
  
  
• Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
  
  
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
  
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  
  
• Proficient with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar.
  
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
  
  
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  
  
• Previous experience working in remote teams, particularly in the EMEA region.
