Customer Success Associate

Voltus is hiring a Customer Success Associate to guide commercial and industrial customers through onboarding and into the energy markets. You will be the main point of contact from the start of a customer's time with Voltus through ongoing account support, working with Sales, Operations, and Energy Markets teams. The role is remote and based in the United States.

What you will do

• Manage new and existing customer onboarding from start to finish.
• Reduce the time it takes a customer to enter the market and make sure they are ready to perform and earn money.
• Schedule and lead business meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Communicate onboarding status clearly to avoid delays and hand off work cleanly to other teams.
• Support customers and sales teams after onboarding with account questions.
• Maintain and grow customer relationships beyond the onboarding stage.
• Keep accurate records and look for more efficient ways to run the process.

What they are looking for

• 3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles.
• Experience in the energy industry and/or working with Voltus's customer profile is required.
• Strong Salesforce experience.
• Process-minded, with attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a bias toward action.
• Organized and able to collect and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Able to shift priorities quickly when needed.
• Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration.
• Empathy for customers and an interest in revenue and growth.
• Understanding of, or interest in, the role of demand-side resources in energy markets.
• A relevant Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience working with operations leaders at commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities is a plus.

Pay and location

The salary range is USD 70,000 to 74,000 per year. This is a remote role, and you should be excited to work remotely. Voltus does not sponsor visas or transfers for new hires, and teammates need to be authorized to work from their home location in the US or Canada unless the role description says otherwise. Employees are expected to work primarily from their home country. Working while traveling to other countries must be approved under the company's Global Remote Travel Policy.
