Founded in 2020, the company partners with creators, brands, and organizations to design and build scalable digital products focused on content, community, and commerce. 

Rare Days has worked with more than 80 creators across 160+ projects, helping them transform a combined audience of over 62 million followers into more than $300 million in revenue. The studio is known for building membership platforms, creator tools, and community-driven digital experiences. 

Rare Days is seeking a Lead Product Designer to guide product design strategy and execution across key projects. In this role, you will lead the design of digital products used by creators and communities, turning ideas into intuitive and scalable user experiences. 

You will work closely with clients, developers, and internal teams to shape product vision, lead discovery processes, and deliver high-quality UX and UI design solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

Product Strategy & Discovery 

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define product goals and user needs

  • Conduct workshops, research, and competitive analysis

  • Translate business requirements into product design strategies

  • Create journey maps, workflows, and experience frameworks

Design Leadership
 

  • Lead end-to-end product design from wireframes to final user interfaces

  • Develop and maintain scalable design systems

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality product implementation

  • Present design concepts and guide feedback sessions with clients

Team Leadership
 

  • Mentor junior and mid-level designers

  • Provide design feedback and help maintain high design standards

  • Contribute to team processes, tools, and best practices

  • Support hiring and onboarding as the design team grows

Requirements
 

  • 8+ years of experience in product design

  • Experience leading product design projects from concept to launch

  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX, interaction design, and visual design

  • Experience running product discovery workshops and research sessions

  • Expertise with Figma and modern design tools

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage client relationships

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, and workflow improvement

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Experience designing tools for creators, communities, or content platforms

  • Background in startup or product studio environments

Compensation & Benefits
 

  • Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 CAD
