Remote General Radiologist - Medical X-ray Consultants

Medical X-Ray Consultants (MXC), a Radiology Partners practice, is hiring a Remote General Diagnostic Radiologist for a partnership-track position. The role is 100% remote and covers a broad mix of diagnostic radiology, with primary coverage during afternoon and evening hours. Fellows and residents are welcome to apply.

What you will do

• Interpret a broad range of general diagnostic imaging, including body imaging, MSK, neuroradiology, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and emergency radiology.
• Provide primary coverage during afternoon and evening hours, typically 2:00pm–9:00pm CST.
• Work roughly 70 RVUs per shift.
• Work within Radiology Partners' integrated technology platform, which supports workflow and collaboration across the practice.
• Cover a network of hospitals across Northwest Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota, supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging studies.

There is no overnight call; external overnight coverage is provided. There are no mammography or PET/CT responsibilities. Flexible scheduling models are available based on practice needs, and additional work opportunities may be available.

What they are looking for

• Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
• Wisconsin and Minnesota medical licensure, or the ability to obtain it.
• Comfort interpreting a broad range of general diagnostic imaging studies.
• Fellowship training in MSK, Body Imaging, Emergency Radiology, or Neuroradiology is preferred but not required.

Pay and benefits

The salary range for this position is $500,000 – $700,000 per year. Final compensation may vary based on experience, training, certifications, and geographic considerations. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and there is a commencement bonus.

Medical X-Ray Consultants is a well-established radiology group serving hospitals and healthcare systems across Northwest Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota. The practice provides diagnostic imaging services along with select interventional procedures across a mix of community and rural hospitals. Its team includes board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists with subspecialty expertise in neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, body imaging, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, and women's imaging. The group delivers 24/7 imaging services across MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, PET-CT, and general radiography.
