Empire State Radiology, part of Radiology Partners, is hiring diagnostic radiologists as independent contractors for remote work. The role is open to full-time and part-time candidates who are comfortable reading all aspects of diagnostic imaging, and the practice lets you build your own schedule with day or evening shifts on Eastern time.

What you will do

Read all aspects of diagnostic imaging as a general radiologist. The practice covers subspecialized readings around the clock, and its radiologists work on site and remotely for hospitals across New York and New Jersey. You set your own schedule, choosing day or evening shifts, and the work runs on Eastern Standard Time.

What they are looking for

  • Medical degree (MD or DO).
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in radiology, board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.
  • A valid New York medical license, or eligibility to obtain one.

Schedule and location

The position is remote, with flexible shifts during the day or evening on Eastern time. Empire State Radiology says the setup is meant to fit around personal or family commitments. The practice serves hospitals throughout New York and New Jersey, including Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island; the Brooklyn, Queens and Bronx boroughs of New York City; Westchester, Rockland and Sullivan Counties in the Hudson Valley; and Union County, New Jersey.

Pay

The salary range listed for this position is $400,000 to $1,000,000. The practice notes that final determinations may vary based on factors such as education, work experience, certifications and geographic location. Compensation is productivity-based, with per-wRVU and per-shift incentive models.
