Remote General Radiologist - 7 On/7 Off - Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology

Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology is hiring a full-time remote general diagnostic radiologist to support a growing practice. The role follows a 7 on/7 off block day schedule and is 100% remote. SVDR has served the Southern Illinois community for over 40 years, providing diagnostic services to 14 Illinois hospitals plus affiliated clinics and express care centers.

What you will do

• Work 100% remote on a 7 on/7 off schedule, 26 weeks per year
• Shift runs 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST
• Read a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging, 100% general
• Expect 65 RVUs per shift
• No call
• No mammography or PET CTs and no specialty reading required
• Work with local referring physicians in a collaborative setting

What they are looking for

• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, residency trained in diagnostic radiology
• Fellowship training in any subspecialty is preferred but not required
• Fellowship experience in emergency radiology, body imaging, neuroradiology or musculoskeletal radiology is a plus
• ER experience is preferred
• Must be capable of reading various diagnostic modalities
• Ability to obtain Illinois, Indiana and Missouri licenses is required

Pay and benefits

The salary range is $500,000 to $525,000 per year. Final determinations may vary based on education, work experience, certifications and geographic location. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

About the practice

SVDR operates an internal 24/7 Results Communication Center support team, called the Center of Radiology Excellence (CORE), to coordinate care and clinical contact. The team works as an extension of the radiologists and helps reduce day-to-day administrative work. The Advisory Board Company and the American College of Radiology have both recognized this as an innovative customer service function. SVDR reviews and improves its radiology service through clinical initiatives, research, artificial intelligence and best practices.
