Remote Evening General Radiologist - Radiology Partners South Carolina

Radiology Partners South Carolina is hiring a remote evening general radiologist. The role is full-time and covers general radiology reads on a 7-on / 7-off schedule from 4 pm to 12 am EST. It is open to residents and fellows as well as practicing physicians.

What you will do

You will interpret a wide range of general radiology studies across multiple subspecialties, including x-rays, CTs, MRIs, and ultrasounds. The position is remote, with clinical platforms and workflow supported by Mosaic technology. The schedule is 182 shifts annually, working 7-on / 7-off from 4 pm to 12 am EST.

Pay and benefits

The salary range is $500,000 to $600,000. Final determinations may vary based on education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The position also includes commencement, retention, and incentive bonuses, a physician expense account for CME, cell phone, and similar costs, and relocation assistance. There is a one-year partnership track.

About the practice

Radiology Partners South Carolina is a multi-subspecialty radiology practice serving two local hospitals, soon to be two free-standing EDs, and two outpatient imaging centers. The practice is based in Rock Hill, South Carolina, about 25 minutes south of Charlotte, NC. Rock Hill is the 5th largest city in South Carolina and sits in York County, one of the fastest growing counties in the state.

The two hospitals are Piedmont Medical Center, a 288-bed full-service hospital in Rock Hill, and Fort Mill Medical Center, a 100-bed community hospital serving Fort Mill, SC and southern Charlotte.

Location and community

Rock Hill offers a small town feel with access to Charlotte. The area has a lower cost of living, a mild climate, and a family-friendly environment. Nearby options include professional sports such as NFL football, NBA basketball, minor league baseball, and soccer, plus Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. Outdoor and cultural activities include Lake Wylie, Lake Norman, the US National Whitewater Center, Giordana Velodrome, parks, and walking trails. The mountains and the coast are both within reach.
