Are you a creative and experienced video game designer passionate about crafting immersive gaming experiences? We’re on the hunt for a talented individual to develop exciting puzzles, engaging dialogue, and captivating levels. This is an 8-month contract role with the potential for a full-time opportunity after the contract period.

Your Role and Responsibilities 

Game Content Development
  • Create and script engaging quests using in-house tools to expand the game world and story. 
  • Write detailed design documentation for levels and concepts. 

Gameplay Balancing
  • Maintain balanced gameplay systems, focusing on creature encounters and boss battles. 
  • Adjust difficulty curves and rewards to deliver a fun and accessible experience for all players. 

Collaboration and Innovation
  • Work closely with the game design, art, and development teams to deliver a seamless experience. 
  • Master processes such as level flow, engagement design, pacing, and storytelling. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Experience: Previous work in the gaming industry is a must. 
  • Passion for Gaming: A deep love for games and an understanding of player needs. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to take feedback and apply it effectively. 
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with video game map editors (TILED experience is a plus). 
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. 
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. 
  • Time Zone Availability: Comfortable working European time zones.
