It is for someone who can work directly with customers, partners and internal teams to analyse, define, implement and operate large-scale networking projects.

The work covers a mix of networking, system design, operations and automation, and the person in the role acts as the face of NVIDIA to customers. Government, enterprise, academic and research groups use NVIDIA products for deep learning, data analytics and data center workloads.

What you will do

  • Build and operate AI/HPC infrastructure for new and existing customers.
  • Support operational and reliability aspects of large-scale AI clusters, with a focus on performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging and alerting.
  • Work across the whole lifecycle of services, from inception and design through deployment, operation and refinement.
  • Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health, with an emphasis on optimising performance and availability to meet requirements and SLAs.
  • Give feedback to internal teams by opening bugs, documenting workarounds and suggesting improvements.

What they are looking for

  • BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, the TCP/IP stack and data center architecture.
  • Proficiency in configuring, testing, validating and resolving issues in LAN networks, especially in medium to large-scale HPC/AI environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of EVPN, BGP, OSPF and VXLAN protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with network switch/router platforms such as Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS and EOS.
  • Extensive experience delivering automated network provisioning solutions using tools like Ansible, Salt and Python.
  • Ability to develop CI/CD pipelines for network operations.
  • A strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Self-motivation and leadership skills to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong written, verbal and listening skills in English.

Ways to stand out

  • Experience with NVIDIA Spectrum networking in large scale deployments.
  • Familiarity with cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Background with RDMA-based fabrics (InfiniBand or RoCE) in HPC or AI environments.
  • Experience with high-performance computing architectures, plus an understanding of Kubernetes and container-based microservices and how job schedulers such as Slurm and PBS work.
  • Knowledge of cluster management technologies, with bonus credit for BCM (Base Command Manager) or Run.AI, and experience with GPU-focused hardware and software such as NVIDIA DGX, CUDA and Network/GPU Operator.
