Enterprise Strategy Leader - Clinical Data

Veeva Systems is hiring an Enterprise Strategy Leader for its Clinical Data business. The role focuses on growing adoption of Vault Clinical Data, which includes Electronic Data Capture and Clinical Database products, among large pharmaceutical companies. It is a remote, full-time position open to candidates based anywhere in North America.

This job is for someone with a background in clinical research or healthcare data flow who can hold credible conversations with business and IT executives about introducing, adopting, and scaling clinical data platforms. You will work alongside the sales team, product team, and clinical and data management leaders across the globe.

What you will do

• Grow and sustain the customer base for Clinical Data
• Develop and execute the Clinical Data vision for enterprise sponsors
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders within and adjacent to Clinical Data
• Use professional networks and relationships to assist with adoption
• Develop value-oriented materials for enterprise sponsors
• Provide thought leadership and sales support to teams driving adoption of Clinical Data products
• Give business and technology guidance to the product team on new or enhanced features
• Keep current with industry trends and engage customers on their business challenges
• Present at industry conferences, lead webinars, and author articles for industry publications
• Take on other special Clinical Data projects as assigned

What they are looking for

• 10+ years in some aspect of clinical research or healthcare data flow
• Experience in a product company in a customer-facing role, ideally selling or positioning the product
• Industry data management and/or consulting experience
• Sales, account management, or business development experience is desirable
• Strong communication, creative thinking, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to innovate across business processes and technology solutions
• Ability to hold meaningful conversations with business and IT executives about Clinical Data introduction, adoption, and scaling
• Deep understanding of clinical data industry trends
• Understanding of global product development, the clinical trial process, and regulations
• Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations

Interview process

After you submit your resume, the process for those moving to the interview stage is: a conversation with the hiring manager, a personality assessment, a practical case exercise, and a final conversation with the group's Senior Leader. Pay and benefits

The base pay range is $125,000 to $300,000. Actual salaries may vary within or outside that range depending on experience and location. The offer is based on your qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation beyond base salary, such as a variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
