KMC Solutions Inc is hiring an SAP ABAP Developer to join its Digital Solutions team. The role reports to the Head of Enterprise Applications and the Henka Programme Manager, and works closely with the global SAP team, business process experts, end users, contractors, and the SAP partner. This is a full-time position with a contract for an indefinite period, and it is mainly remote with worldwide travel when needed.

What you will do

• Develop RICEF objects according to technical specifications, on time, within budget, and at quality.
• Prepare technical deployment (transports), run unit tests and system integration tests, and provide support.
• Work with the SAP business partner or lead consultant on technical improvements, incident reporting and analysis, and development in at least two SAP modules: FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, or QM.
• Take part in build, testing, and integration work on SAP.
• Join SAP projects worldwide.
• Keep SAP application technical documentation present, up to date, and CSV compliant.
• Coordinate the schedule of SAP initiatives, roll-outs, and upgrade activities with the rest of the Digital Solutions team.
• Provide support, training, and assistance to end users.
• Coordinate or deliver second and third level SAP support.
• Work on SAP change requests.
• Act as backup development support for other internal SAP team members and the Henka AMS team when needed.

What they are looking for

• Must work in the Central Standard Time zone of Chicago, USA, from 8 am to 6 pm.
• Degree in ICT, Bachelor IT, or equivalent by experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience developing SAP.
• SAP ABAP development: 3 years.
• SAP S4HANA: 3 years.
• Experience in at least two of these modules: SAP FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, or QM, each with 3 years.
• Knowledge of SAP Scripts, Smartforms, RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, enhancement points, dialog programming, IDOCs, SPAU/SPDD, LSMW, and OSS notes implementation.
• Knowledge of leading warehouse management business processes in a corporate global environment, including inbound, internal, and outbound processes.
• Warehouse automation, integration with other SAP modules, and integration with external companies such as transporting companies, tax authorities, banks, EDI, and tax software.
• SAP change management, SAP release management, SAP Solution Manager, and business process mapping.
• Computer system validation compliancy (ISO 13485).
• Experience creating technical specifications in line with CSV compliancy (ISO 13485).
• Experience with design, build, and implementation phases.
• Experience with training and testing, and creating test scripts and training materials.
• Experience providing training and helpdesk support to end users.
• Experience with data migration to an SAP S4HANA system, go-live cutover activities, and post go-live support.
• Experience with international organizations and global SAP implementations.
• Experience with the SAP Activate methodology.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Service oriented, project oriented, result oriented, and flexible.
• Able to work independently.
• Fluent in English.
