Licensed Insurance Agent

Embedded Insurance is hiring a Licensed Insurance Agent to work remotely, full-time, anywhere in the United States. The company partners with digital platforms in the auto industry to offer insurance products inside those platforms' user journeys. This role is for a licensed P&C agent with at least a year of auto insurance sales experience who wants to spend their time talking to customers and closing sales rather than typing quotes by hand.

Because the company's technology builds quotes from a customer's existing insurance information, the job leans toward engaging clients and cross-selling rather than data entry.

What you will do

• Respond to inbound leads and follow up with prospective customers by phone, email, and SMS.
• Educate customers on auto insurance products, coverage options, and what the agency offers.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and actively offer additional lines, such as home insurance.
• Speak assumptively and work to close the sale.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets while keeping customer service strong.
• Use the CRM in detail to manage leads and track pipeline activity.
• Follow all compliance guidelines.

What they are looking for

• An active, maintained P&C (Property & Casualty) license in your current state of residence.
• 1+ year of experience in auto insurance sales; high-volume call-center experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Comfort using multiple systems at once, including CRM, quoting, and rating tools.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Ability to manage a full pipeline in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital-first insurance platforms or insurtech environments.
• Familiarity with comparative raters and CRM tools such as EZLynx, AgencyZoom, or Salesforce.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Pay and benefits

Advertised compensation is $60,000 to $125,000 per year, with a competitive base salary plus uncapped bonus opportunity. Schedule and location

This is a full-time remote role based in the United States. Shifts rotate and include some evenings and weekends.
