Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is hiring a Financial Analyst for Registration and Operations. This is a remote role open to candidates in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, and Texas. The analyst supports Registration and Operations, Financial Clearance, and Authorization workflows, and works as a liaison between department leadership and other teams.

What you will do

  • Support the development, maintenance, and distribution of operational reports, work queues, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses related to Registration, Financial Clearance, Authorization, and related workflows.
  • Review operational data to identify trends, workflow gaps, system issues, productivity opportunities, and areas that need leadership attention.
  • Troubleshoot operational workflow issues and Epic system functionality concerns, and partner with EIS and operational leaders on resolution, testing, validation, and implementation of system enhancements.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Registration and Operations leadership, EIS, Finance, service lines, clinical departments, external vendors, and other collaborators.
  • Support process improvement by gathering requirements, documenting current-state workflows, validating future-state workflows, and helping with implementation planning and system downtime.
  • Assist with report creation, data validation, issue tracking, KPI reporting, and follow-up so operational leaders have accurate information.
  • Provide support for registration, authorization, eligibility, financial clearance, and related front-end revenue cycle workflows.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate operational performance, identify root causes, and recommend workflow or system improvements.
  • Assist with financial reporting, budget UOS tracking, and other financial review activities as needed.
  • Apply federal and state regulatory requirements, organizational policies, procedures, and operational standards to assigned work.
  • Provide additional operational and administrative support to department leadership as needed.

What they are looking for

The role requires a strong understanding of Epic functionality, registration workflows, authorization processes, operational reporting needs, and how front-end revenue cycle operations connect to the wider organization. You will work with many groups, so the job calls for clear communication across department leadership, EIS, Finance, service lines, clinical and operational departments, external partners, and staff.

This is a remote position, but you must be based in one of the approved states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, or Texas.
