Outside Sales Representative

CareerPaths NW is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for a client that supplies doors, millwork and moulding, and plywood and sheathing products. The role is a hunter position: you prospect, generate your own leads, and close new business with luxury and custom home builders and contractors. It is primarily remote, based out of the Door & Millwork shop in Auburn, WA, and you report to the Sales Manager without needing to be in the office daily.

What you will do

• Prospect, self-generate leads, and close new business.
• Develop new business with luxury and custom home builders and contractors. Experience with A&D is a plus.
• Sell the company's range of products: stock doors, custom doors, big doors, components and parts, hardware, moulding (crown, base, floor, window, door, cabinet), trim, millwork, closets, shelving, OSB, subflooring, plywood, and sheathing.
• Prospect in multiple ways, including drive-bys, site visits, and industry events.

What they are looking for

• Experience selling to custom home builders and/or architects.
• An understanding of how to engage with that clientele.
• Millwork or door sales experience is a must.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the industry.
• Proven success in sales and a true hunter mentality.
• Currently employed candidates are preferred.

Pay and benefits

The position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission potential. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and a car and mileage benefit.

Location and reporting

The job is primarily remote. The base is the Door & Millwork shop in Auburn, WA. You report to the Sales Manager and are not required to report into the office daily.
