Physician Assistant

Auxiliary Outsourcing is hiring a Physician Assistant to work under the supervision of a foreign physician. The role covers both clinical documentation and oversight of medical practice operations, so patients are cared for and day-to-day work runs smoothly. It is a full-time, permanent work-from-home position open to licensed doctors in the Philippines who have experience with adult patients.

What you will do

• Monitor all messages, respond to inquiries from home care policy and clinic, and create and complete notes for all patients
• Create and complete medical notes, making sure nurses follow up on care and answer questions for routine cases
• Accompany healthcare providers during patient encounters and document visit details in real time
• Enter patient medical histories, exam findings, procedures, and treatment plans into the EHR under the direction of the healthcare provider
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals so care is timely and effective
• Keep patient information confidential and private in line with HIPAA regulations
• Help make each patient encounter smooth and efficient
• Work closely with the team, including the head of operations
• Attend live rounds with the physician
• Perform other related medical and administrative tasks as required by the client

What they are looking for

• At least 1 year of experience working as a doctor in the Philippines, handling adult patients
• Must be a licensed doctor
• Formally trained to examine patients and diagnose injuries and illnesses
• Experience handling various medical administrative tasks and working closely with a team of nurses
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Exceptional written and spoken English
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities
• Ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• A strong internet connection, plus experience using communication tools and electronic medical records
• Available to work US Eastern Standard Time hours
• Willing to start as soon as possible
• Looking for full-time work with a long-term commitment

Pay, hours, and location

The role is full-time at 40 hours per week, paid at $7 per hour after training. Training hours are paid. Weekends are off. The position is a permanent work-from-home setup, and you must be available during US Eastern Standard Time hours. The job is based in the United States.
