Enterprise Account Executive, SLED

Asana is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive for its Vertical Go to Market team, focused on state and local government and higher education (SLED) customers. You will land and expand business within your own book of business and help build out Asana's education and public sector go-to-market strategy. The role is for an enterprise sales professional who holds themselves accountable to results and works well with public sector buyers.

What you will do

• Work complex account landscapes, using data to improve existing solutions and find new use cases.
• Anticipate roadblocks and objections and craft solutions that show stakeholders the value of your vision and of Asana.
• Drive revenue and grow business through negotiation and data-driven insights.
• Partner with SDRs, Field Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver customer experiences and long-term business value.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, building relationships from C-level to end users.

What they are looking for

• 4+ years selling directly into the Enterprise segment, with 8+ years' experience closing business.
• Experience closing deals and building strategic relationships in the SLED verticals; a focus on the Pacific Northwest Region is a plus.
• A record of high quota attainment closing deals, particularly in Enterprise SaaS.
• Skill in finding hidden potential within established enterprise accounts to drive growth.
• Ability to build trust and long-term partnerships with diverse stakeholders, with a bias toward action.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, and willingness to learn and use them for productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

Location and office schedule

The role can be fully remote depending on which US state you live in, or based in the San Francisco, New York, or Chicago office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. If based in-office, the standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most employees have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams you partner with. Your recruiter will share more about in-office requirements during the interview process.

Pay and benefits

The On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is $290,000 to $330,000. Total OTE includes a base salary range of $145,000 to $165,000 plus performance-based sales incentive pay under the Sales Incentive Plan. Asana states these ranges are guidelines and actual base salary and OTE may vary based on factors including market and individual qualifications assessed during interviews, and the ranges may be modified.

The compensation package may also include equity and benefits.
