Executive Sales Officer | Equipment Finance | Remote

Altius Search Group is recruiting an Executive Sales Officer for a client's Equipment Finance platform. This is a remote, direct-origination sales role for someone with a track record of building new business and structuring equipment finance solutions for middle market companies. The position is open to candidates in Australia, Canada, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The role suits a self-starter with a background in equipment finance sales, solid credit fundamentals, and the ability to drive originations across industries such as construction, manufacturing, distribution, and services.

What you will do

• Identify, prospect, and develop new business through direct calling, networking, and referral generation.
• Build and maintain relationships with middle-market clients and centers of influence.
• Develop internal partnerships to uncover financing opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Originate equipment finance transactions across a variety of industries and asset classes.
• Evaluate transaction opportunities, including client financial position, structure, and overall fit.
• Partner with credit, documentation, and operations teams to ensure a high level of service and sound risk management.
• Manage and grow an active pipeline to meet or exceed annual production and portfolio growth goals.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions, competitive dynamics, and changes in client credit quality.
• Resolve issues related to transactions, client service, and deal execution in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate independently while representing the organization effectively in the marketplace.

What they are looking for

• Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in equipment finance or a similar commercial finance environment.
• Verifiable production history in equipment finance originations.
• Strong understanding of equipment finance products, pricing, and transaction structures.
• Foundational knowledge of credit, financial statements, and transaction risk assessment.
• Proven ability to build a pipeline through cold calling, referrals, networking, and relationship development.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with SuperTRUMP, TValue, CRM platforms, or related tools is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay and location
